Networking Event for Organisations Working with Young People

This networking event is for organisations that work with young people in Greenland, Iceland, or Denmark. The event gives you the chance to meet other professionals, build networks, share ideas, gain inspiration from each other’s work, and identify potential partners for future international projects. The event is organised by the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps agencies in Iceland and Denmark.

This event is for you if:

  • You work or volunteer in an organisation that works with young people outside of the formal school system.
  • You want to build networks and possibly find partners in other countries.
  • You want inspiration from organisations in other Nordic countries.
  • You want to learn about Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps and how your organisation can use these programs.
  • You can understand and speak basic English (the event language is English). If needed, we will offer interpretation into your national language during plenary sessions.
  • Your organisation/management supports your participation in the full event.
  • You are at least 18 years old.

During the event, you will:

  • Meet organisations working with young people outside the formal school system in other countries.
  • Get inspiration from their work and experiences.
  • Have the chance to find partners for international youth projects for and with young people.
  • Learn how organisations can use funding from Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.
  • See examples of international youth projects supported by these programs.
  • Receive advice and guidance from facilitators and staff from the agencies in Iceland and Denmark.

You do not need previous experience with Erasmus+ Youth or the European Solidarity Corps to apply. We expect participants with different levels of experience. If you have little or no experience, you must take part in an online information meeting before the event. These meetings will make sure that everyone has basic knowledge of the programs. Participation in one online meeting is required to join the event in Nuuk.

We aim to create a safe space for everyone. All participants should feel respected and treated equally. Discrimination or harassment will not be accepted.

If you need special support to take part, such as a wheelchair-accessible room or bringing a personal assistant, we will do our best to meet your needs.

Practical Information

The event will take place at Hotel Hans Egede in Nuuk, Greenland, from August 24th to 28th 2026. Arrival is on August 24th. The full program runs from August 25th to 27th. Departure is on August 28th. All participants are expected to attend the entire program.

Accommodation, meals (from dinner on August 24th to breakfast on August 28th), and travel costs will be covered by the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps agencies.

Accommodation will be in single rooms at Hotel Hans Egede Express.

The event will be held in English.

There will be around 10 places for participants from each country. If there are more applicants than places, the agencies in Iceland and Denmark may prioritize applications. All applicants will receive information about their potential participation no later than May 1st 2026.
