Arctic research is crucial for understanding climate change, the development of new technologies, and changing geopolitical and security dynamics. The Agency supports cooperation on Arctic research within the Unity of the Realm in various ways.
We do this through our role as the secretariat for the Forum for Arctic Research, by allocating grants for Arctic research, and by disseminating knowledge about EU funding for Arctic research, among other things. Read about the core tasks within Arctic research below. We act as:
